Words shape how we think, write, and interpret literature. Think about a time when learning a new word or understanding a specific term helped you better analyze a text, express an idea, or make your writing stronger.

 Prompt Response: Throughout the last few weeks in this course we've read many Robert Frost poems that have had new vocabulary for me. While reading through these peoms and analyzing the new words that I've learned they've greaty impacted my writing. I've taken more time ot think about how I can improve my vocabulary by using more intricate terms. The complex vocabulary in the Story the rockpile also helped me understand the situations better with use of powerful words.

Summary: I worked on finishing and turning in my one pager assignment.

 Prompt response: My Grandparents house in Alabama is a meaningful place to me. It is meaningful to me because it is where I get to see all of my family at the same time. It is also important to me because it is where I've gone for Christmas every year since I was a kid. Their house is very big and comfortable, which is another reason I like going there. Summary: We read a Navajo creation myth and answers discussion questions about it. Reflection: I learned about the core beliefs of the Navajo people, and how they belive life and the Earth were created.
