Prompt: When you are in a mood that you do not like, what are some strategies that you use to change your mood?

 Prompt Response: I am often in a mood I don't like, and I have a few strategies to change it. The first one is eating, because when I'm usually in a bad mood when I'm hungry. I also can also take a nap to make my mood better, or go outside. The last strategy I use is going out with my friends, to take my mind off what is affecting my mood. Summary: In class, we did a newsela about why ice is slippery. Reflection: I learned how ice gets slippery.

Prompt: Describe your personal approach to creativity. What steps do you follow when you’re working on a project. Tell me about a project you created that you were most proud of.

 Prompt Respons: My approach to creativity is taking a while to think aobut what to create. When I have to do i project I first research the topic that I am making the project about, and sometimes I look at refrences depending on the type of project. After I've done that and put together my project I review it, or test it, then I revise it. My project I am most proud of is making a safe shell for the egg drop project in elementary school. Summary: In class I did the test on rhetorical devices, and a vocabulary assignment. Reflection: I learned new vocabulary words.

Prompt: Write about a time you didn’t feel like yourself.

 Prompt  Response: One time I didn't feel like myself was when I went to sleep late and woke up very early. As soon as I got out of bed I felt nauseous and just wanted to go lay down again, but I couldn't. I had to go to school, after I arrived it way rally hard to stay awake while I was in class. I didn't feel like myself because the lack of sleep was making it hard to think strait and causing me to be grumpy. Summary: We listen do MLK's "I Have a Dream" speech.

Prompt: Describe a place where you feel the most at peace and explain why.

  Prompt Response:  A place where I feel the most at peace is my bed. This is where I feel at peace the most because it is quiet and away from people. It is where I can relax after a long day and take a break from school. Another reason is because my bed is where I sleep and watch tv, which is peaceful to me. Summary:In Class we took notes and did assignments about similes, metaphore, and analogies. Reflection: I learned how to write analogies.  

Prompt: Reflect on a time when you had to rely on someone else. How did it feel?

 Prompt Response: One time I had to rely on someone else was in the beggining of sophmore year. I didn't like getting up early to take the bus, and my mom couldn't drive me to school because she had to leave for work. So I got my friend who already had his drivers license to take me. Having to rely on my friend felt like I was powerless, because I had no control over when we got to school, or if he couldn't take me some day. Reflection: In class we work on a paper about rhetoric.

Prompt: What life skills have you learned in high school that will help you live independently after high school? Which skills do you think are essential for your success after high school?

 Prompt Response: Three of the most important skills I think I've learned in high school are writing, budgeting, and time-management. I think these skills will be very helpful when I live independently after highschool because they all are getting me ready to function well at a job. Some more skills I think are essential for success after highschool are good communication and teamwork. These skills are also important to get connections and work well. Prompt: Describe a time when you took a hiatus from something important. What led to the break, and how did it impact you?

Prompt Response: For a while I have been taking a hiatus from video games. A few months ago video games took up a lot of the time I spent at home. I started taking a break because they were causing me to go to sleep later, and I could use the time to do something better. This decision has possitively impacted me, because I go to sleep earlier now, and have more time to do work and go outside. Summary: Absent Reflection: Absent

 Prompt Response: Over the break I went first went to Hustville, Alabama with my mom and sister to visit my whole family. Then I left after Christmas to spend New Years at home with my friends, the rest of the time I relaxed and hung out with friends. 4 Goals 1. The first goal I want to achieve is making sure all my work is turned in on time .  This goal is important to me because it will let me keep my grades up. To accomplish this goal, I will make sure I do all my work right when I get home instead of relaxing, I plan  to do this all year. 2. My second goal is to eat better and healthier.
