Prompt: Reflect on a time when you had to rely on someone else. How did it feel?

 Prompt Response: One time I had to rely on someone else was in the beggining of sophmore year. I didn't like getting up early to take the bus, and my mom couldn't drive me to school because she had to leave for work. So I got my friend who already had his drivers license to take me. Having to rely on my friend felt like I was powerless, because I had no control over when we got to school, or if he couldn't take me some day.

Reflection: In class we work on a paper about rhetoric.

 Prompt response: My Grandparents house in Alabama is a meaningful place to me. It is meaningful to me because it is where I get to see all of my family at the same time. It is also important to me because it is where I've gone for Christmas every year since I was a kid. Their house is very big and comfortable, which is another reason I like going there. Summary: We read a Navajo creation myth and answers discussion questions about it. Reflection: I learned about the core beliefs of the Navajo people, and how they belive life and the Earth were created.
