After reading Lawrence Ferlinghetti's poem "Constantly Risking Absurdity," which explores the poet's daring craft, write about your most absurd personal experience. Describe a single, specific incident that felt ridiculously bold or foolish. Ensure your response is vivid, concise, and captures the essence of absurdity.

Prompt Response: One incident in my life that was very foolish was when I was in elementary school, I got my uncle to catapult me off of a seesaw. I remember flying through the air about 5 and landing on my head. After this happened I had to get an ambulance to take me too the ER, and I had a fracture in my neck somewhere. I thought this experience was absurd just like the ones said in the poem, because it was dangerous, and had risks.

Summary: We read over a poem by Lawrence Ferlinghetti and annotated it.

Reflection: I learned about the challenges of writing poetry.
