 Prompt response: If I made a poem about my life, it would be about the hard things I’ve gone through. It would show how even when stuff gets really tough, I keep trying and don’t give up. The poem would say that the hard times helped me get stronger. The big message would be that life is not always easy, but you can always keep going.

 Prompt response: My Grandparents house in Alabama is a meaningful place to me. It is meaningful to me because it is where I get to see all of my family at the same time. It is also important to me because it is where I've gone for Christmas every year since I was a kid. Their house is very big and comfortable, which is another reason I like going there. Summary: We read a Navajo creation myth and answers discussion questions about it. Reflection: I learned about the core beliefs of the Navajo people, and how they belive life and the Earth were created.
