Imagine you are learning about Hispanic/Latino heritage for the very first time. What would you be curious to know about the traditions, foods, music, or celebrations?

Prompt Response: If I were learning about Hispanic heritage for the first time, I would be curious about the celebrations. I would be curious about them because I would want to know if they celebrate different things than me, and if they celebrate more or less things. I would also want to know how occasions that we share in common, like birthdays are celebrated. Lastly I would want to know about the history of how the celebration came to be.

 Prompt Response: Throughout the last few weeks in this course we've read many Robert Frost poems that have had new vocabulary for me. While reading through these peoms and analyzing the new words that I've learned they've greaty impacted my writing. I've taken more time ot think about how I can improve my vocabulary by using more intricate terms. The complex vocabulary in the Story the rockpile also helped me understand the situations better with use of powerful words. Summary: I worked on finishing and turning in my one pager assignment.

 Prompt Response: The masks in the film represent struggle to fit in because everybody else in the school have different colored masks then her. One moment in the film that stood out to me was in the lunchroom, because she was sitting alone because her mask was different from everyone else. The message of the poem "I Too" is about not fitting in with other people because of being a different race, this is similar to the short film. Which is about not fitting in with people because there mask doesn't look the same. I want my mask to represent where I'm from.
