Which aspect of creating a poem do you enjoy the most? Tell what it is and explain why.

Prompt response: My favorite part of creating a poem is coming up with idea's for what I should write, and writing the peom. This is my favorite part of making a poem because it lets me express what I think about different things through wrinting. I also like writing the poem because I get to come up with different literarry devices to put throught it. While your writing a poem you also have to find words that rhyme to incorporate, overall I like writing the poem because it is a challenge and shows what I think about different things. 
Summary: We read over a Emily Dickinson poem in calss and analyzed it.

Reflection: I learned the specifics of what needs to be included in a argumentative essay.

Prompt: Write about a meaningful object or place in your life that carries a story.

 Prompt response: My Grandparents house in Alabama is a meaningful place to me. It is meaningful to me because it is where I get to see all of my family at the same time. It is also important to me because it is where I've gone for Christmas every year since I was a kid. Their house is very big and comfortable, which is another reason I like going there. Summary: We read a Navajo creation myth and answers discussion questions about it. Reflection: I learned about the core beliefs of the Navajo people, and how they belive life and the Earth were created.
