Prompt: Write about a dream that felt real.

 Prompt Response: Out of all of my dreams there is one that stands out from the others. When I was younger I used to get scary dreams before school started because I was Anxious. Unlike all my other dreams that were caused by anxiety for going back to school, this one was about purple monster that took my family. After they took my family, they took them to the top of a lighthouse. That is where I woke up, but this dream felt so real to me because when I woke up I fully remembered it, and because it was about my family being in danger.

Summary: We made a sentence for each of the vocabulary words, and Completed a Newsela assignment on cancel culture.

Reflection: I learned about the pros and cons of cancel culture, and the meanings of some of the vocabulary words I've never seen before.

Prompt: Write about a meaningful object or place in your life that carries a story.

 Prompt response: My Grandparents house in Alabama is a meaningful place to me. It is meaningful to me because it is where I get to see all of my family at the same time. It is also important to me because it is where I've gone for Christmas every year since I was a kid. Their house is very big and comfortable, which is another reason I like going there. Summary: We read a Navajo creation myth and answers discussion questions about it. Reflection: I learned about the core beliefs of the Navajo people, and how they belive life and the Earth were created.
