 Prompt Reponse: One fear I have overcome over time has been of rollercoasters. Until I was 10 I was scared to go on any rollercoaster with my family when we went to parks. Even though I was scared everytime we went I had to go on some of them. Because I was forced to go on them I eventually came to like them.

Summary: We wrote different types of claims.

Reflection: I learned what to include in each type of claim.

 Prompt response: My Grandparents house in Alabama is a meaningful place to me. It is meaningful to me because it is where I get to see all of my family at the same time. It is also important to me because it is where I've gone for Christmas every year since I was a kid. Their house is very big and comfortable, which is another reason I like going there. Summary: We read a Navajo creation myth and answers discussion questions about it. Reflection: I learned about the core beliefs of the Navajo people, and how they belive life and the Earth were created.
