Reflect on a time when you paused to appreciate the beauty of nature, much like the speaker in “Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening.” Where were you, what did you notice, and how did that moment of stillness make you feel or change your perspective?

Prompt Response: Much like the speaker in Stopping by the Woods on a Snowy Evening, I to pause sometimes when I'm mesmerized by the buety of nature. One particluar time was when I was in a small town in England with my mom and sister. We went on a very long hike through the mountains near the little town. We came across a massive cave in the side of a mounatin that overlloked a pasture with lots of sheep. We all stood there to take in the nature, this stillness showed me that sometime you should stop and look at nature because it is a key part of life. The stillness in this situation also made me feel a sense of calmness.

Summmary: We read and annotated the poem Stopping by Woods on a Snowing Evening as a class.
