 Prompt Response: I think making the simile and metaphor worksheet helped me be able to craft rhetorical devices better. The part about this worksheet that challenged me the most was the pressure to succeed topic. This topic was the hardest for me because I left it blank at first, then when I went back to it I couldn't think of a simile or metaphor that didn't sound like my other ones. Next time I will do them all in order so I don't have to go back and run into problems.

 Prompt response: My Grandparents house in Alabama is a meaningful place to me. It is meaningful to me because it is where I get to see all of my family at the same time. It is also important to me because it is where I've gone for Christmas every year since I was a kid. Their house is very big and comfortable, which is another reason I like going there. Summary: We read a Navajo creation myth and answers discussion questions about it. Reflection: I learned about the core beliefs of the Navajo people, and how they belive life and the Earth were created.
