Prompt Response: One of the vocabulary words from lesson 2 that I see used a lot In things like TV shows is bland. I usually see it being used in situations relating to food. When I didn't know what the word meant it helped me understand, because I could look at the food and see that for myself. I also have heard it describing people, which also would help to show the meaning of the word.

Another big reason I was afraid to accept it is because I wouldn't be able to play soccer this year, and miss half of a church basketball league Summary: We took notes on how to write a argumentative essay, and about the different parts of it. Reflection: I learned the specifics of what needs to be included in a argumentative essay.

Prompt: Write about a meaningful object or place in your life that carries a story.

 Prompt response: My Grandparents house in Alabama is a meaningful place to me. It is meaningful to me because it is where I get to see all of my family at the same time. It is also important to me because it is where I've gone for Christmas every year since I was a kid. Their house is very big and comfortable, which is another reason I like going there. Summary: We read a Navajo creation myth and answers discussion questions about it. Reflection: I learned about the core beliefs of the Navajo people, and how they belive life and the Earth were created.
